Tom angd Pat were two extremely wealthy brothers. Tom had been missing for 2 days.Dr Quicksolvewas at their house talking to Pat.
"When did you see last your brother?"Dr Quicksolve asked.
"Saturday afternoon ,around 2pm,a tall, blond woman came here to pick him up.I guess they had a date.they drove away in her car and I have not seen him after that."Pat explained. Just then, the phone rang, and Pat answered it. "It is for you" he said, handing the phone to Dr Quicksolve.
"J.L. Quicksolve" he said into the phone.
"Dr Quicksolve,"came a response."This Officer Dennis. We have found the body of Tom out here at his cottage on Silver lake.He is been shot to death. "
"Any clues?" Quicksolve asked.
" No, we are still looking"
"Let me know is there is any clues.Goodbye."
"What is it?" Pat asked as the detective hung up the phone and turned to him.
"I am afraid that it is bad news,your brother is dead."
"Oh no!" Pat cried.
Where were you on Saturday evening,pat?'"
" I was right here !You cannot suspect me. I did not go any where near the cottage!" Pat shouted .
" I think you did, Pat. " Quicksolve stated coolly.
Why did he suspect Pat?
